The Philadelphia Flyers are getting their first look at the future of the franchise as General Manager Danny Briere officially announced the schedule and details for the team's 2026 Rookie Camp.
Starting Friday, Sept. 11, the five-day event offers prospects a chance to state their case before veteran training camp kicks off on Sept. 17.
The highlight of the week comes early, with the prospects heading to the PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania, which is home of the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The Flyers' rookies will play a pair of exhibition games against the rookies from the New York Rangers.
The 27-player camp features 16 forwards, 8 defensemen, and 3 goaltenders.
Players such as Porter Martone, Jett Luchanko, Oliver Bonk, Denver Barkey, Alex Bump, and Ty Murchison bring valuable professional context to the ice after getting tastes of AHL and NHL action last season.
The undrafted invitees are always an intersting watch. Keep an eye on forward Sawyer Dingman who was invited to Flyers Development Camp only a few months prior.
