General Manager Daniel Briere announced the Philadelphia Flyers' 23-man roster Monday, with 14 forwards, 7 defensemen, and 2 goaltenders making up the group heading into the 2026-27 season.
Garrett Wilson, Travis Konecny, Sean Couturier, Nikita Grebenkin, Alex Bump, Christian Dvorak, Noah Cates, Matvei Michkov, Trevor Zegras, Noel Acciari, Tyson Foerster, Owen Tippett, Carl Grundstrom, and Porter Martone.
David Jiricek, Travis Sanheim, Cam York, Jamie Drysdale, Nick Seeler, Simon Benoit and Rasmus Ristolainen.
Joseph Woll and Dan Vladar.
Denver Barkey will start the season on injured reserve, while Helge Grans is listed as injured non-roster.
There are plenty of familiar faces on this year’s roster, with 15 players returning from last season’s opening-night group.
Philadelphia also brings back 9 of its top 10 goal scorers and all 10 of its leading point producers from last season’s playoff team.
There will also be some new faces for fans to root for. Noel Acciari, Simon Benoit and Joseph Woll are all set to make their Flyers debuts.
One of the biggest storylines this year will be the development of Porter Martone, who made the opening-night roster after being selected by Philadelphia in the first round of the 2025 NHL Draft.
The Flyers now have their group in place as they prepare to open the regular season Wednesday night against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
