Woods System of Care is a network of organizations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey that delivers lifelong, integrated services to more than 40,000 children and adults with behavioral needs, intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), autism, and complex medical and genetic conditions. At the heart of Woods System of Care is a comprehensive integrated health framework that coordinates seamless care across disciplines to individuals and families throughout their lifetime.

Services include special education schools, vocational training and workforce development, day programs, residential and recreation services, crisis prevention and mobile crisis intervention, as well as social services. Woods also offers medical and dental care designed for individuals with I/DD, autism, and complex needs. Longer visit times, spacious and accessible rooms, and providers who are trained to help clients and families feel comfortable and cared for make this care accessible and responsive to the needs of individuals who may experience barriers in traditional care settings. Medical offices are located in Langhorne and Exton, PA, and at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton (NJ), in partnership with RWJBarnabas Health. Penn Dental Medicine at Woods, a partnership with the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Dental Medicine, is located in Langhorne. Woods’ behavioral healthcare services include autism assessments, counseling, medication management, and more for individuals with and without I/DD. Services vary by location.

Woods supports clients at every age and stage and offers a lifelong continuum of care. With providers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware, Woods is built around a simple promise: There is “no wrong door” for people to enter the service continuum.
