Pickering Manor

Pickering Manor is proud to introduce Pickering Cafe, a new monthly gathering designed to bring residents, families, and community members together for engaging conversation, lifelong learning, and meaningful connection — all over a warm cup of coffee and light refreshments.

Since launching this winter, the Cafe has already welcomed guests for two thoughtful and inspiring presentations. January’s kickoff invited attendees to explore one of America’s most iconic historical moments, Washington Crossing the Delaware, while February continues the momentum with fascinating insights into the stories and mysteries surrounding the U.S. presidents. Each session reflects Pickering’s commitment to creating opportunities that stimulate the mind while strengthening the sense of community that makes Pickering so special.

More than just a speaker series, Pickering Cafe is quickly becoming a place where curiosity is encouraged, ideas are shared, and new relationships are formed. Whether attendees come for the history, the conversation, or simply the chance to gather with neighbors, the Cafe offers a welcoming environment for all.

As we look ahead, the winter/spring series continues with exciting programs planned for March, April, and May — each featuring unique topics and engaging presenters. From personal growth to local environmental awareness and stories of courage, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy.

The early success of Pickering Cafe reinforces what we know to be true: when people come together with open minds and shared experiences, community thrives. We are excited to see this program grow and evolve, and we look forward to welcoming even more guests in the months ahead.
